Rafaela Flores Reyna

" A devout Christian servant of God born in the Rio Grande Valley in South Texas to a rancher family in 1944. Lived in Sullivan City, Tx with her parents and siblings. Graduated from Rio Grande High School in La Grulla, Tx in 1962. Married Ruben Reyna from Los Ebanos, Tx. Moved to Houston, Tx in 1971 where they raised two daughters. Had two grandsons that loved dearly. Enjoyed going to church and being an active member of the community. Most of her youth she worked in the fields picking cotton, tomatoes, lettuce and asparagus. She traveled from Texas to California to work in the fields. After retirement moved to Rosharon Tx with her daughter Amanda Mora, son in law Mario Mora and her two grandsons Andy and Joey. She was a loving, strong and feisty woman who was protective of those she loved and passionate in her beliefs.

She is proceeded in death by her maternal grandparents Rafaela Solis Ortiz and Inocencio Ortiz, paternal grandparents Catharine Flores-Flores and Thomas Flores, her father Rafael Flores Zarate and mother Juanita Ortiz Flores, her husband Ruben Reyna, her brothers Romero Flores, Roel Flores, Ramiro Flores, sister Rosa Ruby Flores, son Ruben Reyna Jr, still born son, still born daughter, daughter Rosa Ruby Reyna and daughter Gisela Reyna. She is survived by her daughter Amanda Mora, son in law Mario Mora, grandson Gerardo Andres Garza ( Andy) and grandson Joseluis Aguilera (Joey), her brothers Reynaldo Flores, Rosendo Flores, Jacobo Rolando Flores, Raul Flores and many nieces and nephews that loved so much.
