Maria Guadalupe Villasana

October 12, 1945 — February 23, 2025

Maria was born in a small adobe home in Conception del Oro, Zacatecas, Mexico on October 12, 1945. At a young age she began caring for siblings and helped raise a total of 6 brothers and sisters. In 1965 she met and subsequently married Clemente Villasana. They went on to have their first child Idalia in 1966. They moved to Houston, Texas and continued to grow their family with the addition of Jesus, Omar and Roxanna. Maria filled her modest home with nurturing love and guided her family in a Christian way. She supported her husband Clemente and all her children's dreams. Always caring and giving all of herself to help others.

Maria made many friends along her way, she never knew an enemy and cared for all her grandchildren as if they were her own. She was a fierce advocate for the love, protection and development of all her children. Up until her last moments she wished for her family to be cared for, always concerned with the well-being of others. She was the exemplification of LOVE. She will be greatly missed but has taken her place in heaven and waits there to see us all again.
