He will be remembered for his sense of humor, his life stories, his faith in God and the Virgen Mary, his love for his family, his will to always land a helping hand, his kind heart, and strength to never give up.
He will always be missed by his loving family and will live in our hearts forever.

José Socorro Alvizo Martínez nació en Arandas, Jalisco el 23 de Enero de 1932, de padres Antonio Alvizo y María Dolores Martínez. Era viudo de María Del Refugio Álvarez Rizo. Estuvieron casados durante cuarenta y nueve años. Fue conocido como un gran agricultor-ganadero desde su nacimiento. Fue un padre amoroso y responsable de su familia: Evelia, Raúl, Jesús, Celina, Héctor, Carlos y Angélica.
Su hermosa vida será siempre recordada en las vidas de sus siete hijos, diez nietos y dos bisnietos. Será recordado por su sentido del humor, sus historias de vida, su fé en Dios y la Virgen María, su amor por su familia, su voluntad de siempre tener una mano amiga, su corazón bondadoso y su fuerza para nunca darse por vencido.
Su amada familia siempre lo extrañará y vivirá en nuestros corazones para siempre.
