Ignacio Garcia, Jr. "Chip"

Ignacio Garcia Jr, 51, known as Chip by his loved ones, passed away of cancer on Aug 6, 2021. Just like he dealt with all experience in life, he managed his illness with strength and grace and never let it stop him from providing for his family.

Chip is survived by his wife Priscilla, daughters: Diana and Angelique and her spouse Mateo, sons:  Nicholas and Noe and his wife Whitney, his grandchildren: Gabby, Alexis, Charleigh, Niko, khloe, Matthias and Jonathan. Aside from his wife, children, and grandchildren, Chip also leaves behind his mother Diana, brother Ike and his spouse April, his sisters and their spouses Peggy and Mike, and Ruby and Buddy. He is preceded in death by his father Ignacio Sr. , mother-in-law Diana, his uncles Steve and Hector and his grandparents Antonio and Irene and Steve and Peggy.

Chip was a wonderful husband, he loved to teach what he knew, he was a great baseball coach, he loved music and he played the drums. He loved to laugh, he loved to joke around, he loved too BBQ and he for sure loved his Titans. Most importantly to him was being a father. His children saw their dad as their hero and even as adults still see him that way. He was always there for them and taught them to enjoy every moment life has to offer.

Services will be held at Integrity Funeral Home 8601 Almeda Genoa Rd. Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 11, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with an evening service at 6:00 pm. A Chapel service will be held August 12, 2021 at 11:00 am with interment to follow at 1:00 pm at Forest Lawn Cemetery 8601 Almeda Genoa Rd. Houston, TX 77075
