Guadalupe leaves behind a legacy through his nine children: Carlos, Melva “Leticia”, Jose “Lupito”, Walter, Erick, Melvin, Carmen, Roxana, Nancy, and Peter. He is survived by his wife, Berfalia Sorto, who, along with the children, will cherish the memories created during their time together. His family and friends remember him as a dedicated husband and father, always encouraging those around him to embrace their heritage and gather around the table to share meals and stories. In honoring his memory, several of Guadalupe’s loved ones will serve as pallbearers: Peter Ayala, Oscar Cruz, Bidkar Santizo, Walter Alfaro, Jose “Lupito” Alfaro, and Melvin Contreras, Raymundo Sorto and Rigoberto Rivera. Their presence is a reflection of the deep respect and admiration held for him. Guadalupe Sorto’s life was a reminder of the importance of family, culture, and community. He will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by all who had the privilege to know him.
