It is with great sadness that the family of Gerardo Hernandez (known as Jerry to his friends and family) announces his passing after an illness, on October 15, 2021, at the age of 69. Gerardo will be lovingly remembered by his children Esmeralda Ramon (Raul), Gerardo Hernandez (Raquel), and Edward Hernandez (Rebecca). Gerardo was Preceded in death by his companion of 48 years Maria Duron Hernandez, parents Gumersindo Hernandez and Margarita Saenz, daughter Jeanette, grand-daughter Jeanecita, brother Juan Hernandez, and niece Rosaura Renteria.
Gerardo was born in Nuevo Casas Grandes, Mexico and grew up in up in Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico. Gerardo Hernandez met Maria Duron in Chihuahua, Chihuahua and were married for 48 years until the time of her passing. They lived in Chihuahua for a short period and later moved to Chicago and then ended up in Houston, Texas. He devoted his entire life and heart to his four children and grandchildren and was extremely proud of his family and their accomplishments. He was an amazing husband, father, son, brother, and uncle.
Gerardo loved carpentry, fishing, hunting, and telling jokes. He also liked fabrication, machining and he loved to tinker with things to repair. He enjoyed the challenge.
Gerardo co-founded Triofab Inc. in 2008 and devoted his life to building a legacy for his family.
Although we lost him too early, we are thankful for all the time that God lent him to us. He lived a full life of love and happiness. We take comfort in knowing that he is no longer suffering and has joined his wife, parents, daughter, grand-daughter, brother, and niece in Heaven.
We would like to thank everyone for their support and prayers during this difficult time.
