Edubina Garcia

Edubina Garcia, better known as Martha, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister and Tia was called home to the Lord on February 2, 2025, at the age of 84. Born on September 18, 1940, she lived a life marked by resilience, love, and unwavering faith. Often known as "Juana Gallo" for her fearless and warrior-like spirit, Edubina faced life’s hardships with a strength that inspired all who knew her. She was a woman who spoke her mind—never holding back her thoughts and always standing up for those she loved. Her quick wit and sharp tongue were as much a part of her legacy as her immense kindness and generosity. Edubina married Robert Santana, with whom she built a beautiful family of six children: Victor, Andrew, Joe, Martha, Robert, and Ruben. She was not only a devoted mother but also a caregiver and an incredible cook, known for making the best fideo and homemade tortillas—her kitchen was always a place of warmth, laughter, and love. Her faith was at the core of who she was; a devoted Catholic, she held a deep reverence for La Virgen, finding peace and strength in her spirituality. But if there was one thing she loved just as much as her family and faith, it was dancing. Whether at a family gathering or a night out, Edubina was always the first to hit the dance floor and the last to leave. Her love for music and movement was contagious, bringing joy to all who were around her. Edubina joins her mothers Andrea and Ruth and son Andrew in heaven, and is survived by her spouse Larry Delaney and children, grandchildren, and countless family members and friends who will forever cherish her memory. Though her physical presence is no longer with us, her courageous spirit lives within us forever. Serving as pallbearers are Robert Santana Jr., Joe Albert Santana Ruben Steven Santana George Steven Garcia, Joel Martinez, Jr. and Ecsael Martinez. A celebration of her life will be held on February 5 at Integrity Funeral Home, where family and friends will gather to honor and remember the incredible woman she was. May she rest in eternal peace, dancing among the angels.
