Domingo Soto Manriquez

Domingo “Mingo” Soto Manriquez was a caring son, brother, husband, father, uncle and friend. He departed this world suddenly on February 5, 2023 at age 64. He was born to Frank Manriquez and Lydia S. Acree on December 6, 1958 in Lynn County, TX. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Cena Manriquez. Domingo and Elizabeth were married on August 27, 1983 at Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Houston, TX. In December 1995, they were expecting their first child together, Sarah Jessica, who was already with her Heavenly Father at the time of birth.

Mingo knew how to work hard and play hard. If he wasn’t at his job of 30 years, Piping Technology and Products INC, then you’d find him in front of the TV, cheering on his Dallas Cowboys. He will forever be the Dallas Cowboys #1 fan, no doubt about it!

He is survived by his mother, Lydia; sisters: Frances Manriquez and Michelle (Tony) Escobedo & many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, Frank; daughter, Sarah, & brother, Raul.

He will be dearly missed by all his loved ones.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at Integrity Funeral Home at Forest Lawn Cemetery located 8601 Almeda Genoa Road, Houston, TX 77075 on Monday, February 13, 2023 from 3pm- 5pm for immediate family and 5pm- 8pm for the general public.
