She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Carmen was preceded in death by her husband, Artemio Villarreal, and her sons, Larry and Lee Villarreal. She leaves behind to cherish and treasure her memories her daughter, Linda Villarreal and son-in-law Erik Hoefer; daughter in law Elida Villarreal; her granddaughters, Stephanie Cortinas, Alyssa Cortinas, Emily Cortinas, and Laura Lopez; grandsons, Larry Villarreal Jr. and Anthony Villarreal; great-granddaughters Amanda Cumbo, Megan Villarreal, Victoria Lopez, and Elizabeth Lopez; great-grandsons Larry Villarreal III and Daniel Villarreal and great-great-granddaughter Emmalyn Lopez.
Carmen was a feisty, beautiful, strong woman who will be missed every day but never forgotten. When we see a beautiful blooming rose or a butterfly flying through the sky, we will know that she is near.
