Carlos Enrique Moreno

Carlos Enrique Moreno, born on March 18, 1978, in Mexico, left this world on March 17, 2025, just one day shy of his 47th birthday. He passed away in Houston, Texas, surrounded by the warmth of memories and the love of those who cherished him.

A graduate of South Houston High School, Carlos was a dedicated professional, having received several certificates for his expertise in cleaning and treating chemical tanks. His commitment to his work was matched only by his unwavering love for his family. Carlos was kind and welcoming, always putting others at ease with his infectious sense of humor. A socialite at heart, he filled rooms with laughter and joy, bringing people together through his passion for cooking and hosting dinners. Family gatherings often revolved around BBQs, where he would take delight in sharing delicious meals and stories with loved ones.

He was a father figure to many young people, always ready to mentor and guide them with a nurturing spirit. Carlos cherished the meaningful relationships he built, and his joyous nature made a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Carlos had a zest for life that extended well beyond work and family. He loved experiencing new things, whether it was fishing on a tranquil afternoon or venturing out to try new restaurants with family and friends. He was deeply devoted to his beloved dog, Snow, sharing countless adventures and quiet moments alike with his furry companion. Carlos enjoyed watching boxing and football games. Carlos is preceded in death by his grandparents, Roberto and Martha Moreno and Epigmenio and Maria Antonia Mata; daughter, Giselle Moreno and brother, Adrian Moreno

Throughout his life, Carlos was blessed with a supportive family. He is survived by his loving mother, Tanya Moreno; his father, Carlos E. Moreno; his brother, Sergio Moreno; and his son, Carlos Enrique Moreno, III; daughters, Lynette and Lyle Vega and many close family members and friends. Each of them holds within their hearts a piece of the vibrant spirit that was Carlos—his warmth, kindness, and laughter will forever remain a beacon of love guiding their lives.

As friends and family gather to honor Carlos's memory, they will celebrate the legacy of a loving son, an illustrious brother, and a devoted father who truly knew the essence of happiness in the connection with others. A visitation will be held at Integrity Funeral Home in Houston on March 24, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM and again from 12:30 PM until a final gathering at Forest Lawn Cemetery from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
